About TCR Associates
Specialist supplier of used sawmill machinery
TCR is based in Liverpool and was founded in 1992 by Tony Furnival, Colin Smith and Rita Hughes to fulfil a need for an independent specialist supplier of used sawmill machinery. Due to the pending retirement of Tony
and Colin, an agreement was reached in 2001 to sell the Company to Soderhamn Eriksson Ltd. However I am pleased to say the Company has now been purchased back by Rita Hughes, (one of the founder members of TCR) and Chris Rowe (Sales
Manager at TCR since 2002) who are now the joint owners of TCR.
Over the years TCR has become well known in the Sawmill Industry and has gained the confidence of many customers who recognise the need for a machinery supplier who has a comprehensive knowledge of sawmill equipment,
understands their needs and can offer solutions combining new and used equipment when the investment to buy entirely new machinery cannot be justified.
Expertise, Stability and Knowledge
TCR has the unique advantage of utilising the expertise, stability and knowledge of a wide network of associates based in Sweden, Germany, Holland, Belgium, France and America, all of whom have hands on experience
not only of sawmill machinery but also of secondary processing machinery. This knowledge and expertise is available to all our customers.
In addition to buying and selling used equipment TCR represent the following suppliers of new equipment:- GOSTA HEDLUNDS AB. who have designed, manufactured and supplied log handling equipment worldwide to sawmills for more than 40
years. HBS supplying heavy duty bark shredders into the sawmill industry MORBARK PEELERS AND CHIPPERS CORNELL MFG. (An American Company who design and manufacturer specialized equipment including multi-rips and stackers for the
sawmill industry.
Blue Diamond Specialists
TCR have been working closely with a European supplier of wet fuel burners and sawdust burners. TCR manufacture and sell the BLUE DIAMOND HIGH PRODUCTION WOOD SHAVINGS MACHINE, processing round logs into quality
woodshavings.
TCR has an expanding worldwide export market including Europe, Russia, Africa etc. TCR buy and sell sawmill machinery world wide. TCR are a strong, healthy, knowledge based company with sound finances. TCR offices are located in
Liverpool close to the motorway network and convenient for Manchester International and Liverpool airports.
